Eddie’s professional journey is marked by versatility and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. A Navy veteran, Eddie served his country honorably, an experience that instilled discipline and resilience. During his military service, Eddie spent three years working as a Cryptologist for the National Security Agency, where he honed his analytical and problem-solving skills in a highly specialized field. Additionally, Eddie is a licensed private pilot, a testament to his dedication to mastering diverse and challenging skills.

Following his military service, Eddie embarked on a career in public service. He first served as a Congressional Field Representative for Congressman John Baldacci, where he began building his reputation for dedication and effectiveness. This role was followed by eight years as a Legislator, during which Eddie demonstrated a deep commitment to public service, particularly in addressing the needs of Veterans and their community. During his tenure in the Legislature, Eddie served as Chairman of the Government Oversight Committee (OPEGA) and was an active member of both the Health & Human Services and Marine Resources Committees, showcasing his leadership and dedication to diverse policy areas.

After his tenure in the Legislature, Eddie transitioned to a significant role with the Passamaquoddy Tribe. Starting as an Assistant Economic Development Director, his dedication and leadership soon led to his promotion to Director. In this capacity, he advised the Tribal Chiefs in both Augusta and Washington, D.C., playing a pivotal role in advancing the tribe's economic and community initiatives.

Strong bipartisan relationships underpin Eddie’s comprehensive understanding of the legislative process. Over the years, he has successfully represented diverse clients, ensuring their interests are effectively communicated and addressed. His commitment to being fully available during each legislative session highlights his dedication to delivering results and navigating the complexities of government and policymaking.

Eddie has previously achieved significant success in Federal Grant writing, specializing in New Market Tax Credits, low-income housing tax credits, Tribal 8(a) certifications, EDA grants, and FAME grants and loan guarantees. His expertise has consistently delivered funding and strategic opportunities, driving impactful results for organizations and initiatives.

In his personal life, Eddie has spent the past twelve years cherishing regular visits to his family in Central America through marriage. These trips have strengthened his meaningful connections with loved ones abroad, enriched his cultural experiences, and deepened his appreciation for family ties across borders. This commitment reflects his dedication to nurturing relationships and embracing diverse cultural perspectives.

Eddie is also a proud father to two children, Cassandra and Brandon, and a grandfather to two grandchildren, Julian and Ford, who bring immense joy and inspiration to his life.
